Artistry Cafe Alfresco

Artistry.  Just one word: Artistry. Because the space embodies more than a café.  At the same time, it is also an art gallery where you can stare, gaze and admire at the art pieces hanging on the walls of the café.

Artistry Cafe Chill Corner Art

Artistry is more than a space for consumers.  It is also a platform for budding artist (and performing artist) to debut their exhibitions, performances, talks and events in an open and inviting environment.

Artistry Cafe Huge Table

Nestled in Kampung Glam, a heritage district that is near to Bugis, Artistry is both a gallery and a café with special dedication to Art; as its very name suggests.  It is soothing and comforting to come here early on a weekend morning or for a break from work when the crowd is thin and you can just relax, have a cup of coffee that is roasted by Liberty Coffee, a local roaster.

Artistry Cafe Barista

Artistry Cafe CoffeeFlat White ($5)

Easily one of my most enjoyable cup of coffee I have since all the good ones in Melbourne.  The milk was very well frothed giving a rather silky, creamy and frothy milk.  The coffee is strong with a strong bitter taste that adds up.  This makes it a sure-win perk me up.  Beans are from local roaster Liberty Coffee, which I hope to be able to review soon as they are a roaster and don’t open their cafes everyday!

Artistry Cafe Scrambled Eggs on ToastScrambled Eggs on Toast ($15)

I’m happy that other than their baked and pastry items, they have hot cooked brunch items available.  I had the scrambled eggs on toast which was good.  The scrambled eggs are cooked just the way I like, however it seems a little too milky for me.  The sautéed mushrooms and salad make together a healthy and satisfying brunch for me.

Artistry Cafe Flowers

Lovely flowers that are bright and colourful are used to dressed the tables.  The arrangements of the flowers are already quite something to marvel at.  It also adds more life to the space.

Artistry Cafe Alfresco Outdoor

Artistry also have outdoor seats for those who prefer some Vitamin E from the sun.  When I walked from the Bugis MRT station towards it, really like what I saw.  The entire walkway was paved with the black and white planks and industrial chic wooden benches and tables.  Everything just adds up neatly for a good photo opportunity of the café exterior.

After my first visit, I have since recommended a few friends to visit this enchanting café.  If you are reading this blog, I suggest you hurry before more people becomes aware and becomes harder to get a good spot of table.  Enjoy!
