Goodwood Park Hotel Durian Mooncake

What can be more classic that the Goodwood Park Hotel Durian Mooncake?  Being most wekk know for its durian products; such as durain puffs and cakes, Goodwood Park Hotel also whips up their much sought after durian mooncakes during the festive season.

Goodwood Park Hotel Durian MooncakeYou can see a lot of effort goes into designing a brand new packaging to seal in the freshness as well as to ensure that you can carry the mooncake box onto the bus or MRT without having to offend those who doesn’t like the smell of durians.  On first pass is a plastic tray that seal up the durian and the box has flaps that can contain the flavours just within the box.

Goodwood Park Hotel Box

Departing from its usual vertical size yellow box, this year box is very peranakan inspired square box.  It really distinguishes itself from the others.  Goodwood Park also has other snow skin mooncakes which are my favourites too.  The newly created Pink Guava with Passionfruit and Rambutan Snowskin Mooncake is special blend of passfruit with pink guava and bites of rambutan bits.  Try them soon, otherwise you have to wait till next year for this special mooncake.
