Kith Cafe @ Robertson Quay April 12, 2013

Posted by gurkhason in cafe, singapore.

Tucked at a quiet corner along Robertson Quay, Kith Cafe is a nice place to kick back and enjoy a quick coffee with friends. The sitting area is outdoors so you have to beat the heat and humidity and have it alfresco style.

I like these bright color chairs facing the canal. You can watch people jogging, running, in-line skating or walking by leisurely. I went during the weekends so there were quite a fair number of foreign children around. But you can see these are playthings for kids as well. So parents can have their coffee and children can play. How thoughtful!

The inside of the cafe is packed into a small and compact space. Other than beverages, they also served simple food like breakfast menu fare, sandwiches and pasta where you can also grab a bite. As they do not have a proper kitchen, so they can only whip up something simple.

I had a flat white which is my usual drink. I like the smoothness of the milk and the taste of the coffee. Bitter, but not acidic. Every mouthful packed with rich coffee taste.

My friend has a caffe latte. I like that they take effort to make these coffee art on each coffee they served. In fact all coffeeshops serving lattes should do this to customise the product. Hopefully we can more creative designs in the future.

This is the general sitting area outside the cafe. Quite intimate setting and close to the cafe. I wonder how it would be like going there on a weekday when there is working crowd. It is quite hard to reach the Robertson Quay area without driving, otherwise I would probably go there more often. The cafe overlooks the Gallery Hotel on the side.
