Habitat Coffee Two CoffeeHabitat Coffee Bistro caught my attention on Instagram because I love coffee and free pour art aka coffee art.  There were just so many gorgeous and beautiful coffee art and the coffee are in these colourful cups and saucers.  As I am meeting a friend who stays in Potong Pasir, so I suggested checking out the café along Upper Thomson Road.  And the first one we checked-in was Habitat.

The Lokal Food Galore

The Lokal is not new to the local café scene, however it is still considered the new-kid-in-the-block.  I mean, if there are still people who stays in Pinnacle @ Duxton and not aware of its existence, it must still pretty new right?  I took an instant liking for this Aussie inspired café the first time I stepped in.  I like a café bright and cheery and it seems very welcoming and inviting.  Everyone seems happy being there and there’s a lot of vibrancy and energy.  That makes eating more pleasurable.  I am a firm believer that the atmosphere and ambience created is just as equally important as the food and beverage and service you can come to expect from a café or restaurant.

SYNC korean bistro army stew

I just got back from a trip from Seoul.  Despite the Korean food overloads, but as I was choosing the photos to put up for this post, the memories that was evoked from my dining at SYNC Korean Fusion Bistro was actually rather positive!  I take it that it means the food was authentic enough or just as tasty if not more tasty that those that I have eaten in Korea.  SYNC is located at the 3rd floor of the Westgate Mall.  It may be a little hard to notice as it does not have a prominent shop front as it is tucked away in a quiet corner of the Mall.  But just look out for the Samsung store, the bistro is just located above it.

Chong Qing Chicken Pot Bugis Food Junction

With the rise of the foreign population, we are blessed with the introduction of their local cuisine into the country and further adds to the diversity of variety we have here.  No longer do we need to dine in expensive restaurant to have a taste of Chong Qing, now you can enjoy a good Chong Qing Chicken Pot at affordable prices in a food court.  How cool is that?   Chong Qing cuisine has a characteristics of being spicy and numbing to the tongue.  There has been a proliferation of fragrant hot pot, but this Chicken Pot is something extra with that extra oomph!  The menu here has origins that was created by legendary “Ji Gong” or crazy monk and hails from the city of Chong Qing that is widely regarded as having the best cuisines in China.

Harry Marina Bay Link Mall Bar Bites

Harry’s at Marina Bay Link Mall has raised the bar recently with a spanking new contemporary look and a refreshed menu.  Although I don’t work in the CBD area, however I do have a couple of occasional drinks at Harry’s as my company is headquartered at the Marina Bay Financial Centre.  Actually, I frequent Harry’s at Tampines more because it is near to where I live and where I work.  If you take some notice, Harry’s still maintain its trademark laidback vibe with a sporty and musical theme.  More introductions after food proper.
